Paintings from cold days at the beach

I painted last week on 2nd St in Wilmington. It was so peaceful! The flowers were beautiful and the sun shining. I loved being there.

Happy New Year! I have all  these paintings to paint, and am very excited to begin, but this is day 2 of a cold that is miserable and a fractured wrist that is better, but not helpful to paint with.

New Years Eve!

Living near  the water is the name of this painting. That tree is surviving on salt spray and sun! I love the idea of always being able to head to the water and see the ever changing light, water, and mystery of the landscape.
